Get Mila Kunis' Highlights

Mila Kunis is one of my inspirations. She is gorgeous, and funny. It is about time that I am do for a bit of a makeover and I am going for this look. If you are interested in this color, and cut as well, read on and I will tell you exactly how to describe this look to your hair dresser so you can have such amazing hair like Mila.

Be sure to tell your stylist to work with your natural color, especially if your hair is as naturally dark as mine. The hair should only be highlighted from mid-length to the ends. I like this idea because you do not need to worry about your roots coming in, although you still may need to go get touch-ups every now and then. The stylist should then diffuse the highlights and hit the points of your layers.
If you are looking to have layers nearly identical to Mila Kunis, ask your stylist to gradually add layers from the collarbone down.
Hitting the points of your layers is nice because it shows off the lovely shape of the haircut. The ash brown background is a universally flattering color. In order to add more warmth to your complexion, swap the sandy highlights for a more suitable caramel highlight.
Also, for this cut, and style, be sure to tell your stylist to keep the parting more towards the middle or barely off-center as it is more flattering.
For stylists to get more of an image and better understanding of what exactly you are looking for be sure to bring along a picture. This helps them better understand, and gives you results that you will love.
I hope you enjoy your soon-to-be new color and cut inspired by the lovely, Mila Kunis.

XOXO
-Samantha
